Civic engagement
Blueprint NC partners have been advocating for policies to accommodate voters in hurricane-impacted areas. The truck hauls, distribution centers, and existing civic engagement infrastructure has served as a mechanism to disseminate critical voter know your rights information and political education materials about the underlying issues that make Hurricane Florence, and Matthew and Floyd before it, more than just natural disasters. We want to empower our communities to fight back and make clear that this is unacceptable.
